Saviour Automation Inc. is an Industrial Automation & Control System Integrator and Cloud Architecture Framework provider company in Greater Toronto Area. Our main focus is on delivering automation solutions to OEMs, vendors and end users. Saviour Automation Inc. offers Automation project design, execution, consultation, project management, implementation, onsite support for Industrial Control Systems as well as architecture building and providing consultation services with Azure, AWS, VMWare and Google Cloud Platforms.

Currently, we are expanding operations and seeking an Industrial Automation Specialist within the company.

The successful candidate(s) will have the opportunity to design and execute a variety of complex automation projects including the programming of: PLCs, HMI, motion controllers, VFDs. The candidate must observe all safety rules. Extensive travel within Canada, the United States and worldwide is required. Additional criteria as follows:

Job Description:

  • Responsible for all aspects of Industrial Automation & Control System Integration projects that includes design & development, implementation, factory testing, onsite commissioning/support , remote commissioning/support and documentation.

  • Understanding of Process & Instrumentation Diagrams (P&IDs), Electrical drawings, I/O wiring drawings and network architecture diagrams.

  • Well versed with Rockwell Controlgix/Compactlogix PLC platforms, Siemens S7-1200/1500 PLC platforms, Studio 5000 PLC programming software for Rockwell PLCs, TIA Portal programming software for Siemens PLCs, Rockwell/Siemens VFDs.

  • Working knowledge with Ignition Designer SCADA system will be an asset.

  • Work effectively with other team members, customers’ onsite project team members, vendors and subcontractors.

  • Independently work with clients to on various projects, onsite support and maintain ongoing communication.

  • Meet project deadlines in a timely manner.

  • Ability to work on flexible schedule, extended periods of onsite stay and emergency onsite support calls.

 

Qualifications:

 

  • A university degree in Electrical Engineering, Mechatronics or equivalent

  • 2-5 years of experience with electrical design in PLC, HMI and motion control is desirable. Freshers welcome.

  • Ability to read pneumatic and hydraulic schematics is a plus.

  • Previous experience with Rockwell and Siemens automation hardware and software is an asset.

  • Excellent English: Both oral and written communication skills

  • Strong analytical and mathematical skills

  • Familiar with electrical codes

  • Willing to travel and stay onsite for extended periods. Flexible to travel on short notice.
